Beauty - How to Succeed 2

Beauty

Recent History

Greek and Roman artists have provided the basis and also set the standard by which male beauty in western civilization can be measured.

Accordingly, the ideal Roman male was defined as tall, muscular, long-legged, with a full head of thick hair, a high and wide forehead – a sign of intelligence – wide-set eyes, a strong brow-line, a strong perfect nose and profile, a smaller mouth, and a strong jaw line.

A combination of these characteristics would give rise to an impressive and commanding look depicting an aura of handsome masculinity.

The desirability of a beauty ideal may be a harbinger for racial oppression. Accordingly, there is a well established notion in American society that black features are less attractive or desirable than white features. The perception that all that was black was inherently ugly was highly damaging to the psyche of African Americans, manifesting itself as internalised racism, in which members of marginalised groups hold an oppressive view toward their own group, or start to believe in negative stereotypes of themselves.

It was for this reason that the “black is beautiful” cultural movement set out to dispute this idea. On the other hand, beauty ideals may also act as a trigger in order to promote racial unity, rather than disharmony.

Mixed race children, therefore, are sometimes perceived to be more attractive than their parents. In this respect, it has been suggested that their diverse genetic background may actually help them in the future.

Human Beauty

The determination that a person is “beautiful”, whether it relates to an individual or in a collective sense, is often based on the aspiration of inner beauty. Such an entity is associated with certain psychological factors. These may include such diverse attributes as personality, intelligence, grace, charm and elegance.

Another aspirational prerequisite is that of outer beauty.  This is represented as a manifestation of such physical factors as health, youthfulness, symmetry, averageness, and complexion.

A popular way to gauge the extent of outer beauty is by means of a beauty competition, such as the Miss Universe. The level of audience appreciation may be regarded as a measure of their definition of such beauty.

Conversely, inner beauty is more difficult to quantify, even though beauty competitions often claim to take this into consideration as well during the final judging.

A useful measure of physical beauty is to be found in the concept of averageness. It has been found that when pictures or photographs of human faces are assembled together to form a composite image, such an image moves progressively closer to the ideal image, and as such is perceived as being more attractive.

Such an outcome was initially recorded in 1883, when the cousin of Charles Darwin was using photographs to study the faces of vegetarians and criminals in order to determine if each group of individuals could be associated with specific facial characteristics. His work concluded that that the combined images were more attractive than those of any of the individual images.

Latter day researchers have replicated these experiments under more controlled conditions and have found that the computer generated, mathematical average of a series of faces scored higher than that of the individual faces.

What Is Beauty?

Beauty

In these days, a growing number of people, especially the women, pay more and more attention to their appearance. Every year, they will spend a large sum of money on beauty products.

Nowadays, the characterization of a person as “beautiful” is more based on outer beauty, which includes physical factors. Inner beauty is placed after outer beauty. If you have a good-looking face, sexy figure and beautiful clothing, you may be labeled “beauty”. In these days, the beautiful persons are always the focus of the crowed and get more chances. Therefore more and more people are willing to spend money and time to make themselves more beautiful. This is the reason why in these days beauty products are so popular.

Many people hold a critical view on today’s common beauty standard. They argue that beauty should be the combination of all the qualities of a person that delight the senses and please the mind. The inner beauty should be placed on the first.

Now there are so many beauty contests and media establishment of beauty, which make the public lose sight of their own personal definitions of beauty. Furthermore, there are so many ads on beauty products which offer the standard of beauty. In such circumstance, people get lost about beauty.

Some people think that it is unnecessary to spend a large sum of money to buy beauty products and devote much time in beauty salon. They say the feeling of beauty comes from a sense of happy and health.

In fact, we should make positive change to the standard of beauty. It is true that everyone wants a good-looking face and sexy figure; however, there are a lot of things that we can do to be happy and healthy and to offer the standard of beauty for ourselves.

You Being Beautiful the Owners Manual to Inner and Outer Beauty Review

Beauty

Many people get caught up in material things, and feel that material items create true beauty. They forget to look past the items and see the person looking back at us. Instead we often torment over the person we see in the glass. All you can see is someone staring back at you who you don’t think is beautiful, because we have not met “normal” society standards.

The truth is that I don’t think that society know what is the normality for beauty. To them true beauty is being able to look good 24-7. Always hiding behind whom you relay are not.

The way we look and is made up is not some random act, that we can pin point and show gratitude. The fact is beauty isn’t some superficial pursuit. We might even be very disgusted with our features The beauty that we poses today might not even make us want to jump up and down to thank our ancestors for giving us life! As crude as that sounds it is the truth. Look at us. We are fat, big, and ugly. Or at least that is how we feel.

Beauty does, in fact follow scientific standards. Beauty has a purpose, because historically, it is how people have expressed who we are, also it has been a communication tool to attract the opposite sex. Being beautiful on the outsides is not all but it’s all about how healthy and happy you really are on the inside. Which once again that is not the “NORM” for society. They have it they other way around they could care less if your inside is rotted out.

To most beauty on the outside is all that counts… However you will find that it is not true. Which leads us to the overview of this book: YOU Being Beautiful The Owners Manual to Inner and Outer Beauty

Users are rating this book with full stars! Giving it wonderful praises. Excellent Work! Good work, keep it up! This publication changed my very being. I used all the advice given and after a week, I noticed how my skin had begun to differ. When I realized that I was getting attention from men, I was no longer worrying about my pores.

It’s such an amazing feeling! Look 20 years younger, 20 pounds lighter and 200% prettier in only 20 days both books are a must read: Another book I strongly recommend because I’ve enjoyed it immensely is stop the Age Clock!

You: Being Beautiful could as easily have been called YOU: Being Healthy …4 Stars! If you can optimize your Health then you will optimize Beauty. According to Roizen and Oz, we all would like to look, feel and really be beautiful. Now I don’t think many men would admit to this, but if you replace “feel my best” and “healthy” for “beautiful,” then you’ve accurately described the book. This book is meant for both sexes and not just men.

That is useful and helpful 3 Stars lots of useful information Dr Oz has a way of presenting information. I’ll go through the remaining books he has published.

The Power of Beauty

Beauty

Have you ever wondered why women are so concerned about how they look? Why they aim to look like the beautiful women they see on the television and in magazines? That’s because beauty is power!

Even way back into ancient times women were concerned about their looks. Think of Cleopatra or Nefertiti who were beautiful women of their times.

The cosmetic industy is well aware of this and that women will go to great lengths to look beautiful. That’s why the cosmetic industry is a multi billion dollar industry.

When you think of beauty you think of what you see on the outside. But beauty is more than skin deep. And beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder! What one may find beautiful another may not. Even though there is no such thing as a definition for universal beauty all women know how to use their beauty to their advantage.

Men fall for this manipulation constantly. In fact they seldom know they’ve been snared into the web with a woman’s beauty. Of course the know when exterior beauty is mesmerizing them but it’s the internal beauty that they have not idea is working. That pouty mouth, those sparkling eyes, that gentle laugh. The power play of the boardroom and the bedroom share many similarities.

It’s a proven fact men are unable to release themselves from the beauty of women. A quick look, a wink, a big inviting smile, a relaxed posture are all indications that a man has succumbed to beauty. Studies have shown even the smartest men go stupid when entranced by the beauty of a woman.

Remember Sophia Loren, Jane Collins, or Jaqueline Bisset. Think about Julia Roberts, Nicole Kidman, Madona, Marilyn Monroe. There beauty had an instant effect on the male population. Not only their exterior beauty but the deeper inner beauty of confidence and mystique that surrounded them.

These women were all show stoppers without even trying. In fact when asked they felt their features were flawed, but men didn’t see it that way. And yet each of these women were totally different in looks and personality. But each brought a certain group of men to their feet. Each had the ability to take the smartest man and turn him into a walking talking zombie stuttering, and staring.

Remember a beautiful woman is more than the exterior shell. Beauty is the whole woman. Personality, charm charisma, seductive sexuality, a smile, or a stance. There are many elements to a womens beauty than capture a mans attention and lock him into a world of bliss.

There is no cure for the poor male population, no pill to pop, no treatment to make them free of the power of a beautiful women. There are no magic bullets to stop the bite of beauty from turning the male population into a drooling idiot or a walking talking zombie. And until there is women will continue to use their beauty as a weapon on the opposite sex. Sorry guys
